BIOL 315 - Virology

This lecture-based course is an exploration of foundational concepts of virology, including virus classification, structure, replication schemes, and mode of transmission of human/animal viral infectious diseases. Particular emphasis is placed on host immune response, viral pathogenesis, epidemiology, and disease control.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 101, BIOL 102, CHEM 101, and CHEM 102
