CHEM 102 - General Chemistry II


A continuation of CHEM 101  with equilibrium and its many modifications being a central topic. Specific topics include crystal structure, kinetics, equilibrium constants, LeChatelier’s principle, solubility product constants, spontaneity, and electrochemistry. The laboratory emphasizes data collection and analysis. Three hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory per week.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 101 , MATH 133  
Credits: 4 hours (Spring)
