HON 314 - Honors Chowan Experience II


This course is a continuation of HON 113 and is designed to help students develop and apply the essential skills needed to create professional success. These skills include coachability, spiritual growth, financial literacy, building confidence, communicating effectively, self-care and wellness, problem-solving, collaboration, technical competence, and developing professionalism. The course concludes with a job-training boot camp that trains students in a wide range of job-hunting skills and provides exposure to an array of potential career pathways. 

The course is required of Honors College students. The course is equivalent to CU 301. If a member of the Honors College completes CU 301 prior to joining the Honors College, he or she has met the Honors College requirement.

Prerequisite(s): HON 113 , Junior standing and Honors College standing
Credits: 4 hours
