C or Better on All Courses toward the Major
Integrative studies provides students with the opportunity to pursue an interdisciplinary program that is not offered as part of the university curriculum. With faculty sponsorship and departmental approval, they design a customized program combining a minimum of two related fields. This strategy can be a powerful way for students to prepare for specific careers.
Concentration Area (40 hours)
Students must complete forty hours from a minimum of two disciplines that are integrated into a single, coherent concentration. A faculty member from each discipline selected will serve as a member of an Integrative Studies advisory panel along with the Integrative Studies program coordinator. At least twenty hours must be 300-level or higher. No more than twenty-four hours of the concentration area may be from one discipline.
