BIOL 101 - General Biology I This course is an introduction to the principles of cellular biology. Topics include the process of science, experimental methods, basic chemistry, organic molecules, cell structure, cell transport, energy transfer, molecular biology, cellular reproduction, and genetics. Three hours lecture and one three-hour laboratory per week.
Prerequisite(s): Biology, Comprehensive Science Education, Elementary Education, Exercise Science, or Health and Physical Education major or permission of the instructor. Credits: 4 hours
