ENGL 102 - Advanced College Writing

In this writing course, students will gain practical strategies for research and become increasingly confident in their overall writing ability. This course is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to develop compelling arguments and synthesize information. Through the exploration of complex issues from multiple perspectives, students will learn to evaluate the quality of source information and utilize structure and language appropriate for different audiences and purposes. The course also emphasizes the development of life skills, including effective communication through professional writing, a desire for continuous improvement, problem-solving abilities, critical evaluation, analytical thinking, and logical reasoning. The course includes an online lab component.
