BIOL 210 - Biological Evolution Evolutionary theory is the unifying concept of biology. This course will survey the history of evolutionary thought, the mechanisms and patterns of evolutionary change, and the methods scientists use to study evolution. Topics explored include evolution by natural selection and genetic drift, adaptation, genomics, speciation and extinction, and applications of evolution in modern medicine.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 101 and BIOL 102 Credits: 3 credit hours
