BIOL 105 - Introduction to Biological Sciences This General Education course is focused on helping students gain a deeper understanding of how scientific knowledge is accumulated and evaluated. The course first provides an introduction to the process of science. Students then examine some of the scientific evidence underlying evolutionary theory. Finally, students apply their understanding of science to read primary sources and investigate a biological topic in depth. This course is appropriate for students who do not intend to major in the natural sciences and does not count as a science elective for biology majors.
