Educational Outcomes
Graduates that complete the Comprehensive Science Education Program (9-12) will be eligible to apply for licensure to teach science courses and:
- Graduates in Comprehensive Science Education will be proficient in content knowledge (fundamental scientific phenomena, methods, concepts, and theories).
- Graduates in Comprehensive Science Education will be able to plan and deliver instruction that demonstrates mastery of science content, appropriate use of pedagogical skills, and appropriate integration of technology.
- Graduates in Comprehensive Science Education will demonstrate the ability to collect and analyze data from formative and summative assessment to support learning for all students.
- Graduates in Comprehensive Science Education will understand the importance of and be an advocate for science in the high school curriculum.
