C or Better On All Courses Toward The Major
An integrative studies major gives students the opportunity to pursue a program of study that is not offered as part of the university curriculum. Students, with faculty sponsorship and departmental approval, can design a coherent program that combines existing courses in the curriculum to create an interdisciplinary study of a specific area of interest.
Concentration Area (36 hours)
Students must complete thirty-six hours from two disciplines that is integrated into a single, coherent concentration. A faculty member from each discipline selected will serve as a member of an Integrative Studies advisory panel along with the Integrative Studies program coordinator. At least twenty-one hours must be 300 level or higher. No more than twenty-four hours of the concentration area may be from one discipline.
