BIOL 341 - Microbiology This is a study of the morphology and physiology of microorganisms with emphasis on bacteria. Introduction to beneficial and disease causing microbes is included. Consideration is given to terrestrial and aquatic microbiology. Laboratory consists of standard techniques and procedures as well as some biotechnology techniques. Three hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory per week.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 101 and BIOL 102 , and CHEM 101 and CHEM 102 ; CHEM 275 recommended Credits: 4 hours (Spring)
