BUS 484 - Project Management and Practice A course providing an overview of techniques and tools employed to successfully initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close tactical and strategic business projects. Topics include controlling scope, creating schedules, developing and managing cost baselines and budgets, ensuring quality, managing risk, optimizing human resources, ensuring effective communications, implementing and closing procurement contracts, and managing project integration.
Prerequisite(s): Grades of C or better in BUS 261 and IS 200 or IS 300 , Senior Standing and Admission to the School of Business Credits: 3 hours
