REL 346 - Religion and Society

An examination of the contemporary interactions between religion and soceity. Issues addressed may include the sociology of religion, church and state relations, the media, the arts, religion and science, medical practices, political activism, private vs. public education, inter-faith dialogues, and post-modernism.
