BUS 301 - Principles of Finance An introductory course dealing with the principles and practices of financial management within a business firm. Topics covered include time value of money, financial statement analysis, capital structure, capital budgeting, working capital requirements, acquisition of funds, and an overview of financial markets. Students will apply Excel knowledge to perform financial calculations.
Prerequisite(s): Grades of C or better in ACCT 203 , BUS 261 , and ECON 252 ; Junior standing; Business major or minor Credits: 4 hours
