CHEM 102 - General Chemistry II


A continuation of CHEM 101  with equilibrium and its many modifications being a central topic. Specific topics include crystal structure, kinetics, equilibrium constants, LeChatelier’s principle, solubility product constants, spontaneity, and electrochemistry. The laboratory emphasizes data collection and analysis. Six hours of lecture and two three-hour laboratories per week.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 101 MATH 130  
Credits: 4 hours (Spring)
