BIOL 335 - Animal Behavior


This course will survey animal behavior from a broadly comparative perspective. The physical, social, ecological, developmental, and evolutionary influences on the behavior of animals will be surveyed. The history of the field and the methods used in the study of animal behavior will be examined. The ethical issues surrounding the use of animals in research will be discussed. Six hours of lecture and two three-hour laboratories per week.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 101  and BIOL 102  
Credits: 4 hours
