GC 341 - Digital Printing Production

A course designed to build upon knowledge acquired in Digital Printing and Publishing. This course focuses on application of knowledge of the digital printing process. Students will gain first hand knowledge of digital printing equipment capabilities and experience using a Fiery RIP front-end. Students will be exposed to elementary variable data through InDesign’s built-in Data Merge features. Students will also be expected to design, impose, print and finish jobs intended for the digital printing process as several assignments throughout the semester.
